Suvi-Marja Matila was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales in 2009. Having completed her training with the firm she joined the renowned team of expert criminal defence lawyers at EBR Attridge LLP.

R V S and others  Kingston Crown Court. Mr S faced trial as part of alleged gang related conspiracy to possess firearms with intent to endanger life and conspiracy to commit violent disorder. He was found not guilty to all charges after 7 week trial at Kingston Crown Court.

R v P  Wood Green Crown Court - Acted for a defendant charged with S.18 GBH. The defendant had stabbed a man on the neck with scissors. The defendant raised self defence and after successful legal arguments the case was dismissed.
R v S  Woolwich Crown Court- Acted for a defendant who faced a charge of s.18 GBH. The victim in this case had been stabbed multiple times. After successful legal arguments the case against the defendant was dismissed.
R v T  Blackfriars Crown Court. Client faced trial charged with attempted murder. Due to the number of injuries it was unclear how many times the victim had been stabbed. The judge described the injuries inflicted the worst he had ever seen in a man that lived. Guilty plea to a lesser charged secured resulting to 3 years custodial sentence.
R v A -Central Criminal Court -Currently acting for a defendant in a multi-handed case, defendant charged with conspiracy to kidnap, blackmail and administer noxious substance.
R v S - Snaresbrook Crown Court -currently acting for defendant in a multi-handed case, defendant charged with conspiracy to possesses firearms with intent to endanger life and conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
